Over the long weekend, our teachers enjoyed a fun “Pickleball & Pizza” celebration in recognition of the incredible dedication and hard work that went into our Accreditation visit earlier this school year, as well as the commitment shown over the past several years. We are so proud of our outstanding results and continued success. Way to go, Team SMS!
This week, our Kindergarteners had the best time touring the Fraser Cabin at Kelsey Creek Farm and stepping back in time to learn about pioneer life! From the food people ate to the tools they used and the daily chores they completed, students loved comparing life in the past to life today. It was such a fun and meaningful experience noticing what has changed, what has stayed the same, and imagining what life was like long ago! 🤠🏡✨
May has been such a special month so far! Our Middle Schoolers enjoyed a night under the stars dance, 5th Grade had a blast at Environmental Ed Camp, and we celebrated our final Family Mass, where teachers got special SLEs!! What’s been your favorite SMS event/activity of May so far?

Thank you to all of our parents who joined us for last night’s State of the School Parent Education Night. We are grateful for your partnership, engagement, and commitment to our school community.
Throughout the evening, we celebrated our successful accreditation, shared exciting updates on staffing and leadership, discussed parent engagement initiatives, and provided important financial updates for the future of our school. We were also excited to unveil next year’s school theme: “Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14 ❤️
Thank you for being such an important part of our mission and for continuing to support the growth and success of our school community!
We are so proud of our First Communicants as they received this beautiful sacrament and took an important step in their faith journey. ✨🤍 Thank you to our students, families, and teachers for helping make this special day so meaningful. Congratulations to our First Communicants! 🙏📖
2nd Grade got to enjoy the nice weather and share their emotion poetry with their classmates. They were challenged to describe an emotion through poetry, and their classmates had to guess which one they wrote about!
Our 2nd graders had a special visit to St. James Cathedral as they prepare their hearts for First Holy Communion this weekend. ⛪️💙 Through prayer, reflection, and exploring this beautiful sacred space, students deepened their understanding of the Eucharist and the joy of this important sacrament. Please keep our communicants in your prayers as they celebrate this special milestone! 🙏
Faith and innovation came together in 6th grade religion as students brought the story of Exodus to life through stop-motion animation! 🎬📖 Using creativity, collaboration, and STEM skills, students combined technology with Scripture to deepen their understanding of God’s faithfulness and the journey of the Israelites. We love seeing faith integrated into hands-on learning in such meaningful ways! ✨💙
At our 20th Anniversary Gala, we were proud to honor Dean and Claudine Adamo as recipients of the 2026 Costello Award. 💙
For years, the Adamo family has helped shape the heart of our school community through their generosity, leadership, and unwavering commitment to belonging. From gala nights to everyday moments of support, they continue to model what it means to live out our mission with love and compassion.
Thank you, Dean and Claudine, for the countless ways you have strengthened the St. Madeleine Sophie community and invested in future generations. We are deeply grateful. ✨
