Our 1st Graders are building their classroom community together! 💙💛 They worked as a team to create a Community Agreement—sharing what it means to serve, lead, love, and learn while making their classroom a place where everyone feels respected, supported, and valued. ✨
Once a Seraph, always a Seraph! ❤️ Some of our SMS students showed up Friday night to cheer on our alumni at the O’Dea football game. We love seeing our Seraph family support one another—long after graduation! 🙌🏈

This week, our students spent some time learning about our upcoming Moveathon, and most importantly, why we run! Students reflected on what makes our school special, how the Moveathon supports our school, and set a personal goal for the number of laps they hope to complete. Your child is bringing home several copies of the flyer they created in class, and each flyer has a QR code linking directly to the Moveathon donation page. We encourage students to share these flyers with family, friends, neighbors, or others in their community. Our goal is for students to take pride in their school, and understand the importance of the Moveathon by sharing why they love their school, spreading awareness, and inviting others to support our school through the Moveathon. Thank you for helping our students put their school pride into action!

Kicking off their final year at SMS with a little adventure! 💙💛 Our 8th Graders enjoyed the annual ropes course field trip—building confidence, teamwork, and memories together as they begin their last year as Seraphs. 🧗♀️✨

Our very own Mrs. Ensminger was recently awarded the @fulcrumfoundation 2026 St. John Baptiste de La Salle Award! The award is presented annually to distinguished educators in the Archdiocese of Seattle. As the patron Saint of teachers, St. John Baptiste de la Salle devoted his life to the education of young people, and Mrs. Ensminger’s steadfast devotion to the mission of our Catholic school has earned her this award as an exceptional and inspirational educator!
