Holy Week Service 2016

St. Vincent de Paul Society of Seattle / King County

This warm and enthusiastic group of second and eighth grade students from St. Madeleine Sophie Parish lifted the spirits of our neighbors in need. Understanding the significance of eye contact and a simple smile, they made sure to connect with our neighbors in need.

We would like to offer our thanks and gratitude to the teachers, chaperons, and student volunteers for serving 243 families and 100 people experiencing homelessness. It was a joy having you come out this way to serve our community. This was a wonderful opportunity to marry the pillars of leadership, service, and community. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to service.
