Educating students with serious physical ailments and developmental disabilities of varying degrees within a traditional classroom setting presents challenges – AND opportunities.  At St. Madeleine Sophie School in Bellevue, Wash, students of all abilities are included in a way that all children benefit.  That’s why the school recently received the 2014 Edward Shaughnessy III All God’s Children Inclusion Award.

Gonzaga Magazine, the official publication of Gonzaga University, features the school and its teachers, half of whom are graduates of Gonzaga’s School of Education.
